Organoleptic characteristics:
The Xinomavro wine has a very interesting colour. It is somewhere between red and rose (more like a light red) and is strongly characterised by the aromas of sun-dried tomato, green pepper and crushed olive. It possesses a pleasant acidity on the pallet whilst remaining well balanced.
Presentation: Bottle: 750ml clear Bordelais style
Closure: Plastic stopper in blue colour to match the capsule. The plastic stoppers can be used safely instead of natural corks and ensure freshness of the wines that do not require aging.
Case: Cardboard carton of 12 bottles
Alcohol Degree: 11,5%vol
Acidity: 6,3g/l in tartaric acid
Food: Xinomavro is best enjoyed with desserts, stewed fruit and fruit salads. Also very pleasant on its own as an aperitif. Best served at 8-10°C Aging: Can be satisfactorily aged for a period of two years.
